Holiday Update

Four years ago this weekend, I married the love of my life! I'm so thankful God brought him into my life...and didn't let my stubborn self stop His plan! (But that's a whole other blog entry!)

Hi, Everyone!

Thanks for stopping by the blog on your Memorial Day weekend.  The blog is on vacation this weekend, as well. The Toddler and I are in the wedding of one of my oldest and dearest friends, and we will be running around doing all sorts of weddingish things from Wednesday-Sunday.

While you’re here, though, be sure and subscribe to the blog. I’m thanking all my blog subscribers at the end of the month with a drawing for a spa basket. Start your summer off right with some of my favorite products that pamper. You’ll want to be registered for this! And don’t worry, I will never give your e-mail address out to anyone–because I wouldn’t want anyone to do that to me. You’ll just receive updates from yours truly here at kristenethridge.com.

BUT… Great things are coming next week! I’ll have 2 new life lesson blogs on Monday and Tuesday, a great Writer Wednesday on creating conflict, and a Friend Friday guest post from Texas author Cathy Bryant that you’re not going to want to miss. I’ve read it and it’s great!  I’ll be posting another review on one of my favorite things (sssh…it’s a secret!) and Scripture Sunday will be back in full force.

I’m also thinking of adding Toddler Thursday to the repetoire, with a special message for moms. What do you think?

As you can see, the summer blog season is starting with a SPLASH!  You’re going to want to stop by often!  I’m so thankful that you’ve come by. Please feel free to leave a comment–I love getting the chance to chat with you. And of course, spread the word to your friends who might enjoy stopping by here too.

Of course, the most important thing this weekend…remember the sacrifice of our soldiers. Freedom is not free, and we live in the greatest country on earth because men and women volunteer to put their lives on the line for you and me. I am eternally grateful.  Please don’t just turn Memorial Day into another excuse for being lazy or getting something on sale. The lives of our soldiers meant something. Honor their sacrifice by spending quality time with your loved ones this weekend and making sure your children understand why we celebrate Memorial Day.

Thanks again for stopping by, friends! Blessings to all of you. Stay safe this weekend!

Kristen
