Ah, the best laid plans of mice and bloggers…
When I left for the holiday weekend, I mapped out an awesome blog schedule for this week. I had all sorts of great stuff planned for you, faithful blog family.
And then the Internet conspired against me. (Is it revenge for my steadfast refusal to believe that Al Gore invented the Internet?) We use a local ISP that I’m not happy with. It’s hot spot technology, and it constantly drops my signal. I’ve logged on more than 40 times in a day more than once. So, AT&T is bringing U-Verse to my little neck of the woods. It’s already supposed to be here, but as these things go, I guess the install has been delayed a bit. But we chose not to renew our contract with the local service provider, not wanting to double-pay for the month. But…now that it’s delayed, I may have to pay, as surfing on my phone is starting to get annoying. Not to mention that my thumb is asking for self-employed worker’s comp.
So, I’ll be back soon, either on AT&T or the not-so-hot-spot. In the meantime, I’m coming to you live from my parents’ computer to bring you the inaugural Friend Friday blog (albeit a few hours early.) You’re going to love this great entry from Texas author Cathy Bryant.
And don’t forget, I’m always looking for guest bloggers over here. If you’re interested in sharing something for Friend Friday, contact me at conversationswithkristen*at*gmail*dot*com. (You know the drill…take out those asterisks.)
See you soon! I miss chatting with you all.
It’s a pleasure to find such raitolanity in an answer. Welcome to the debate.
